About the Event
HELEN BRUCE
Helen Bruce was born in Grantown on Spey. She studied at Gray’s School of Art, graduating in Fine Art, Printmaking.
She works mainly in oils which allows for a spontaneous and intuitive response to the landscape experienced in the Highlands and images from around the coastal villages of Catterline and Stonehaven.
In this workshop, we will be experimenting with acrylic techniques using a variety of mixed media to create pieces with depth and texture.
WORKSHOP DETAILS
Helen is looking forward to holding this full day workshop for UDAS on Saturday the 4th February, 10am to 4pm in the Art Room of Aboyne Academy.
In the workshop, we will be experimenting with acrylic techniques using a variety of mixed mediums to create pieces with depth and texture. A detailed list of materials will be sent to participants nearer the time.
The cost of this one-day workshop is, as usual, £25 for members and £30 for non-members, and booking is on a first-come first-served basis, with members taking preference.
Please bring with you a cheque made out to UDAS, or cash on the day.
We do ask that if, for any reason you have to cancel, please try to find someone who can take your place. We wish to avoid having any workshop run at a loss.
