Pushing out the boundaries

Today Susie Hunt set the bar pretty high for us! To interpret our pencil tonal drawings of a still life into a beautiful painting using some of the techniques we learned yesterday.

Remembering which mediums are water soluble and which are not and thinking about what will ‘ come out in the wash’ and what will stay on the paper proved quite a step for some of us and there were triumphs and disappointments along the way!

Susie was an excellent tutor who gave us all encouragement and each of us a ‘positive’ to take away from the weekend.
